The titanium wonder is coming. Oppo Watch X3 will come to us as OnePlus Watch 4
Oppo has officially confirmed the arrival of its new smartwatch Oppo Watch X3which will debut on the Chinese market together with a foldable smartphone Oppo Find N6.
According to the materials made available by the manufacturer on the Weibo platform, the new smartwatch will stand out high degree of durability and premium materials. The Watch X3 case has use titaniumalthough it is not yet known whether this applies to the entire housing or just the frame around the display. Videos announcing the premiere suggest that the Watch X3 is a watch designed for outdoor activities not afraid of water, dust and the most difficult conditions.
The appearance of the new model is very similar to the Oppo Watch X2 and the OnePlus Watch 3 z characteristic thickening on the right side. However, available information shows that Oppo Watch X3 (model OWW261) will bring interesting changes compared to the previous generation. The most important thing is to replace the manufacturer’s charging connector with a standard USB-C port. This will allow you to charge the watch using the cable and phone charger.
It is supposed to be the heart of the new smartwatch two processor system – in the previous Watch X2 model it was Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 supported by the BES2800BP coprocessor. We know the same connection from OnePlus watches, which works very well, ensuring longer working time. Apparently, the manufacturer is continuing this idea.
Additionally, 2 GB of RAM will be responsible for the speed of work, and the user will receive 32 GB of data space. The battery will provide energy with a capacity of 632 mAh. Importantly, Oppo Watch X3 will offer full support for eSIM cards thanks to the independent eUICC system, which will allow you to make calls and use data transmission without having to carry your phone with you.
The manufacturer plans to release the device in several color variants, including black, silver, titanium and orange. There is also talk of a potential smaller version called Watch X3 mini, although its details remain unknown for now.
Leaks show that the premiere of Oppo Watch X3 and the Oppo Find N6 smartphone may take place in China around March 17. What is most interesting, however, is that the same equipment will most likely appear on the global market under a different name. The recent certification of the OPWWE261 model with 10W charging indicates that this model is coming to our part of the world the watch will be released as OnePlus Watch 4. On the other hand, Oppo Watch X2 is officially sold in Poland, so it is possible that models of both brands will be available in stores.
