At the beginning of January, we informed that the e-Tax Office did not allow card payments. This happened because the contract with eService, which handled this type of transactions, ended. It is true that a tender for the next period was held, but the protest of one of the participants prevented the signing of a new contract. Fortunately, the method has just come back.

Previously, there were suggestions that card payments at the e-Tax Office may be temporarily restored, but in a limited way. The tax office was to sign a contract with eService without a tender, which would make card payments only available up to a certain amount. This apparently did not happen, or at least information about it did not appear in the latest announcement.

In it, the Ministry of Finance announced that from February 15, 2026 at 00:01, the card payment service is available again at the e-Tax Office. In addition, Poles can also pay with BLIK and electronic transfers.
