the second wave of August has just been announced

4 new titles will arrive in the Game Pass at the end of August and while waiting for a certain Starfield in September, we can say that Microsoft and Xbox have plenty to keep us busy.

Microsoft and Xbox have now become accustomed to announcing new Game Pass in successive waves during the month and here comes the second batch of August after the first. The selection of games is certainly smaller, but does not skimp on quality, with in particular two highly anticipated titles in very different genres which will make their appearance DayOne in the service : The Texas Chain Saw Massacre And Sea of Stars.

THE August 17It is Firewatch which will make a new appearance in the Game Pass. The game takes the form of what is more commonly called a walking simulator in which you play as a Wyoming ranger whose only emotional relationship is the person on the other end of a portable radio. The goal ? Explore the surroundings and maintain (or not) the conversation from a distance.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre meanwhile arrives August 18 and in DayOne on the Game Pass. As its name suggests, this is the official game of the eponymous license. You play as one of the famous members of the Slaughter Familyor their victims, in an asymmetric multiplayer horror experience (much like a Dead by Daylight) and based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film.

The other headline of this selection of the month is none other than Sea of Stars which will happen on him August 29. The game developed by the creators of The Messenger had made a strong impression when it announced its Kickstarter, 3 years ago in particular, because it is directly aimed at those most nostalgic for the beautiful era of Japanese RPGs of the 90s. There are references to classics like Chrono Trigger or more recently at Chained Echoes. With, for example, a certain Yasunori Mitsuda in the composition, which is not without moving the author of these lines.

Finally, the last title announced is none other than Gris which will arrive on September 5th. A title well known to indie game enthusiasts whose graphic paste leaves no one indifferent. The game takes the form of a platformer in which we play a young girl lost in her own world, facing a painful experience in her life. A visual and emotional slap that we strongly advise you to try.
