The Polish army has new equipment to protect secrets
The services confirm safety
The Military Counterintelligence Service has issued cryptographic protection certificates for two new devices. These are ETA-MSZ and ETA-BSZ encryptors. Enigma Information Protection Systems from the COMP Group is responsible for their development. This equipment passed the verification process and was included on the list of solutions intended for the protection of classified information.
The devices meet the requirements for the Restricted, NATO Restricted and Restreint UE / EU Restricted clauses. This means that they can be used in national and international IT systems. The certificate guarantees that data transmission between protection zones remains protected against access by unauthorized persons.
Technology straight from Poland
Both models are completely Polish designs. They were designed and manufactured by domestic cryptology specialists. The manufacturer ensures full technological autonomy from the design stage to final production. These solutions are intended to serve the Armed Forces, special services and government administration.
ETA-MSZ is an integrated IP-VPN gateway. Engineers adapted it to work in difficult environmental conditions. The device is resistant to vibrations, shocks and extreme temperatures. Thanks to this, it can be mounted on mobile platforms. It will work well in military vehicles and aircraft. They can also be installed in standard 19″ RACK server cabinets.
Use in the office and in the field
The ETA-BSZ model serves as a mobile IP-VPN gateway. This is a solution dedicated to office or remote work. Its small size allows it to be used during a business trip. It allows you to securely connect to a classified network from anywhere.
Both devices remain fully compatible with each other. They allow you to set up VPN tunnels between different points. These systems also work with older models of ETA-MIL 100Z encryptors. They are also compliant with the NINE 1.0.5 standard. This facilitates the integration of new equipment with the existing IT infrastructure.
