The new Windows 10 update will install itself, but it changes a lot
Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for Windows 10. The package marked as KB5036892 will automatically install on our computers. What does it change?
All Windows 10 users can now check whether the latest KB5036892 update is available. However, you must know that if you search for it in Windows Update, it will be installed automatically. However, there is no reason to worry. It corrects several bugs and introduces two new features.
What's new in KB5036892 update?
The first change is the ability to set Windows Spotlight wallpapers not only on the operating system login screen, but also on the main desktop. Thanks to this, we can see a new photo selected by Microsoft every day. To enable this feature, go to your personalization settings and enable Windows Spotlight on your desktop there.
The second change is the ability to display more information on the system login screen. Windows 10 can now show the weather, sports results, traffic jams, and even currency rates or specific company rates. It's up to us what we want to have displayed.
In addition, the KB5036892 update for Windows 10 also introduces 23 fixes, including:
- This update resolves an issue with the touch keyboard. Sometimes it doesn't open.
- When you sign in, you may see a message inviting you to upgrade to Windows 11. This message only appears if your device is eligible for an upgrade.
- Novelty! This update adds search highlights to the taskbar search box for the European Economic Area.
After installing the update, Windows 10 22H2 will be updated to build 19045.4291 and Windows 10 21H2 will be updated to 19044.4291.
