It’s almost back to school, even for SVoD platforms. Netflix has just announced its catalog of video content for the month of September. We are notably entitled to the biopic of Bernard Tapie and to a new season of a classic of the platform.

Tapie: September 13

100% French series: a fictional biopic on Bernard Tapie (embodied by Laurent Lafitte) arrives in the middle of September. If the subject speaks for itself, the series will retrace the fate of one of the most sulphurous businessmen in the French landscape and one of the most controversial public figures. From singer to businessman, from minister to prisoner, Bernard Tapie has known it all. Through his successes as well as his failures, the Tapie mini-series traces his extraordinary life.

Sex Education (season 4): September 21

After a somewhat enigmatic end to season 3, season 4 of the hit series made by Netflix is coming for a final appearance. We find there most of the characters from last season, for example Adam with his father, or Otis and Eric, the two best friends, who always seem as accomplices. The opportunity to speculate on the future of high school students and their parents, who will probably not be done with the problems of…well, you know.

Edmund: September 1

Released at the beginning of 2019, Edmond tells the backstage of the play Cyrano de Bergerac. We thus follow the young Edmond Rostand who has been out of inspiration for two years, until his meeting with the famous actor of the boards Constant Coquelin. He decides to offer her a role for his new work. Problem: the play is not even written. Despite his personal problems and pressure from his professional circle, Edmond wrote THE play that would change his career.

Jack Reacher 1&2: September 1

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie for the first and Edward Zwick for the second, the series of action films Jack Reacher has no other purpose than to impress, especially when it’s Tom Cruise who sticks to it. On the menu, chases, gun fight spectacular and a plot highlighting the eponymous character of jack reacher desperately seeking justice for a crime he did not commit.
