The energy voucher will go to those who submitted the application last time of the year. And what will happen in 2025? This is still in question.

Due to the partial unfreezing of energy prices, some households could count on financial support this year in the form of an energy voucher. Deputy Minister of Climate, Miłosz Motyka, said that about PLN 1 billion would go to those entitled to it. However, it is worth noting that not all eligible people will receive the money. The transfer will only come to those who submitted their application no later than September 30. The offices had two months to consider it and pay the funds, which means that the last payment date will be at the end of November. If you do not submit an application, your chance of receiving additional payment will be lost.

What next with the energy voucher?

Applications may be able to be submitted again in 2025, but it is not expected at this time. Instead, On November 19, the government adopted a draft law on further freezing of electricity prices. However, the Minister of Finance, Andrzej Domański, announced that the voucher would remain “an element of the discussion”. Everything will depend on the electricity prices we will observe in the near future.

How much is the energy voucher?

After meeting the income limit, single people could count on the maximum PLN 300 support. For 2-3 people the maximum amount is PLN 400and with 4-5 people it increases to PLN 500. Households consisting of 6 or more people will receive the most, as it will amount to PLN 600.
