The Last of Us Part II Remastered by Naughty Dog has its official premiere today. In addition to graphical improvements, the remastered version of the game received additional content, including: in the form of No Return mode.

Living in a thriving community of survivors gave them peace and a sense of stability despite the constant threat from the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disturbs this peace, Ellie hits the roadto exact righteous vengeance…

The Last of Us Part II Remastered has been adapted to the capabilities of the PlayStation 5 console. Graphics capabilities now include displaying the image in native 4K resolution in fidelity mode, in resolution 1440p upscaled to 4K in performance mode and an option unlock frame rate per second for supported TVs VRR. The Last of Us Part II Remastered introduces higher texture resolution, increased LOD distances, improved shadow quality and animation sampling rate.

Sony argues that this made all locations even more realistic. Additionally, the game uses now haptic functions of the DualSense controller, thanks to which players will be able to experience the gameplay even more. Controller effects provide specific feelings for each weapon and provide a greater sense of presence in the game world when exploring the snowy mountains around Jackson or the rain-drenched streets of Seattle.

Also added in the remastered version new contentThat is:

  • Guitar Free Play – a mode that expands the mini-game by adding additional characters, locations and instruments.
  • The Lost Levels – levels that were removed from the final game have been added
  • in an intact, raw version and with comments from developers.
  • No Return – a new mode that poses a huge challenge to players. In No Return, every piece of trash is permanent, and players will be able to play through the game with different characters with various sets of starting equipment.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PlayStation 5 is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Storeand PLN 219. Is it worth spending this amount on the new edition?

We already had the opportunity test this game. It has its undoubted advantages, but there are also a few points that stand out think about the meaning issuing such an amount. The final grade is 7/10so it’s not very bad, but it doesn’t break anything either.
