The government is preparing to change the driving test. You won’t fail there anymore
Big changes are coming to the driving test. The government has already ordered a study that will be the basis for this, but it is almost certain that one element of the exam will be removed.

The government may be preparing big changes for future drivers. However, it is not about tightening the regulations, which is already certain, but about the exam itself. In Poland, candidates must prove their skills, among others, on the maneuvering area. There will be no such requirement in the future.
License exam without a maneuvering area
CIECA, the organization dealing with driver examinations, already pointed out in 2009 that there is no need to check the skills of candidates for obtaining a driving license at the driving test area. This is said to be unjustified and does not translate into higher driver skills. According to the organization, a better choice is to spend this time driving in real traffic, where you can also learn important maneuvers.
It seems that the Polish government, after many years, is finally going to agree to this opinion. The Ministry of Infrastructure has placed a public order for the preparation of a study titled: “Analysis of existing solutions in selected areas of road traffic safety in some EU member states.” There can only be one conclusion – testing drivers at the maneuvering area is unnecessary. None of the countries that will be analyzed have this element in the driving test.
It is not known when the changes would come into force. Conducting the analysis itself will take some time, and then you will also need to prepare the appropriate law.
