The GeForce RTX 40 Super series is a hit

In January, NVIDIA introduced three new graphics card models. The GeForce RTX 40 Super series was well received, although the higher the model, the less performance improvement it offered. Despite this, the new GPUs turned out to be a hit. They sell so well that it’s hard to buy them anymore.

Success of the GeForce RTX 40 Super series

We tested all three models of GeForce RTX 40 Super graphics cards ourselves. The RTX 4070 Super offers an average performance increase of approximately 15 percent over the standard version. GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is an improvement of about 10 percent. However, in the case of RTX 4080 Super, the increase is only 5%. However, this did not discourage customers who jumped at the new GPU.

In many stores, not only foreign but also Polish, purchasing a GeForce RTX 40 Super series graphics card is very difficult. This applies primarily to the RTX 4080 Super model, which offers the smallest performance increase. This is probably due to the significantly reduced price, as the structure is available at a suggested price of $999 and PLN 4,999 in Poland. For comparison, the standard RTX 4080 cost as much as PLN 1,199, which amounted to over PLN 7,000.

If any GeForce RTX models are available at this time, they are usually at prices much higher than suggested. Of course, we do not know how wide the availability of individual versions was, but since the situation is similar in many stores, we can safely talk about the great success of the Super line cards.
