The electric market in Poland will collapse. OurEauto budget is exhausted
The NaszEauto program, which was implemented by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW), was launched on February 3, 2025. It was possible to partially finance the purchase, leasing or long-term rental of electric cars. Anyone interested could count on support of at least PLN 40,000 after meeting the conditions. It is worth emphasizing, however, that it was this lowest price point that attracted the greatest interest.
End of funds for NaszEauto
It is worth emphasizing that the program was supposed to last until April 30 this year. However, due to exhaustion of funds, applications are accepted only conditionally, with no guarantee of payment. This is due to the unexpectedly high interest in the program.
And he was hardly surprised. Chinese producers perfectly sensed the opportunity to enter our market with a bang and cheap electric cars, and thanks to subsidies it was possible to buy a completely new electric car for really ridiculous money.
However, the end of the program means much lower profitability of purchasing electric cars. And now we will find out whether Poles really love electromobility or only cheap, new cars.
