The big premiere of the famous series is tomorrow. HBO starts the year with a bang

It turns out that the emergency department can be the setting for many dramatic situations that can captivate many viewers. The first season of “The Pitt” premiered in January last year, and subsequent episodes were broadcast at weekly intervals. This production perfectly filled a temporary niche in the category of medical series, which we Poles are particularly fond of.

“The Pitt” definitely won the hearts of the audience – not only thanks to its expressive acting, but also thanks to its original structure. Each episode was equal to one hour of shift taken by hospital workers in Pittsburgh. Viewers also liked the fact that the series did not idealize the hospital reality too much. Personally, I couldn’t look at some scenes because they were too bloody for me, and I honestly admit that I watched them through my fingers. The director announced that there will be “no shortage of blood” in the second series. But, as you can see, viewers still highly value this type of realism in the context of the fight for life and health.

The first season was about hope, the second is about the healing process.

The above-mentioned series received as many as 5 Emmy awards, which proves that it was also appreciated by a respectable group of film critics. One of them went to the actor, director and screenwriter – Noah Wyle, who will also be seen in season 2.
