The adaptation of the bestseller is a hit in Poland. All 8 episodes now available

The series “It’s Her Fault” debuted on the Sky Showtime platform on December 15, 2025, when the first two episodes were immediately available. Yesterday, on January 26, the eighth and last in the series premiered.

This eight-episode thriller was praised by critics and viewers. The plot is not complicated, but it must be admitted that it is extremely addictive – it tells the story of the disappearance of a 5-year-old boy from a wealthy district of Chicago.

And she’s right, for the sake of her missing son, Milo, there is no sacrifice she would refuse, no desperate step she would not take if necessary to keep him safe.

The series is becoming more and more popular in Poland, rising day by day on the list of the most watched titles.

There’s really nothing to be surprised about. Viewers got what they like most – a mystery full of twists and turns. It’s a thoroughly engaging story, armed with heartwarming insights into maternal guilt and paternal arrogance. For a moment, it even seems that what really happened to Milo doesn’t matter that much. From the moment Marissa arrives to pick him up from play and realizes he’s gone, everyone’s immediate instinct (police, community, family) is to point out that she was the one who wasn’t careful enough. And I think this slightly perverse approach to the whole topic is what makes the series “It’s Her Fault” so attractive.

The cast is also a big advantage of the production – it stars Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Sarah Snook, known from “Succession”. She is accompanied by: Dakota Fanning, Jake Lacy and Michael Pena.
