BLIK and ATMs were enough
Police officers from Wrocław detained a 16-year-old girl who made a series of withdrawals from ATMs throughout Poland using the BLIK system. She gained quite a lot of weight. The victims’ losses were estimated at approximately PLN 400,000.
The teenager strictly adhered to the previously prepared plan. In just 4 weeks, she made as many as 280 withdrawals from various ATMs. Taking into account the fact that she is a minor, her future fate will be decided by the family court.
How did this happen?
A teenager from Wrocław explained that she found a job on the Internet. She was offered it by an unknown man and it was supposed to be a job in cryptocurrencies. The girl gladly accepted it because she was promised quick and high earnings. In fact, it has become merely a tool in the hands of criminals. During the arrest, the police managed to find a phone and cash in her apartment.
This is the type of story that serves as a warning that there is no such thing as quick cash and easy earnings on the Internet, especially when the client is unknown and the offer is related to cryptocurrencies.
