Tesla calls on car owners. Reason: life-threatening
Tesla Motors faces more problems with its controversial Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck. Manufacturing defects involving windshield wipers and the trunk have been revealed in models that recently rolled off the production line.
Tesla she called the owners 11,688 Cybertrucks due to faulty windshield wiperwhich can reduce visibility for the driver. The recall is for wiper motors susceptible to electrical overload, used in models manufactured between November 13, 2023 and June 6, 2024. Tesla will replace the motors for free.
Another Tesla Cybertruck problem: 11,383 copies were called for urgent service due to faulty mounting of finishing elements in the load box, which they can fall off and cause a hazard on the road. The problem is to be solved on Tesla’s website for free – solution: improving the adhesion of hazardous elements using a special agent or tape.
These are not the first problems for the Tesla Cybertruck
The mentioned problems with Tesla pickup trucks may seem like insignificant details compared to the cause recall of Tesla electric vehicles in April. In that case 3878 Cybertruck owners were summoned for service due to the risk of jamming the accelerator pedal.
