Fortunately, there is no reason to worry, at least for now.
When will GTA 6 be released?
Take-Two Interactive’s latest quarterly report contains information about the release date of GTA 6. It is not a specific month or even a specific day, but at least we have confirmation that, at least for now, there is no indication of a delay in the release. From the document we learn that GTA 6 will be available to players in the fall of 2025, so in about a year.
Looking ahead, we believe Take-Two is exceptionally well positioned in the long term. Our vision is clear, our talent is unrivaled and we have one of the strongest portfolios in our industry. With many exciting new titles coming in fiscal 2026 – including Grand Theft Auto VI in the fall, Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country – we expect to create long-term value for our shareholders.
– said Strauss Zelnick, head of Take-Two.
Importantly, in the fall of 2025, GTA 6 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Nothing is known about the PC release yet.
