Samsung updates its Try Galaxy tool, allowing to test One UI on iOS. A new feature allows two iPhones to be assembled to form a Galaxy Z Fold 5. It is not used for much, except to taunt iPhone users and communicate around their smartphone.
A few weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 was presented, Samsung’s latest foldable smartphone in the “book“. Because the model remains a technological showcase for the brand, Samsung communicates around and does not hesitate to tickle iPhone users. With the update to its Try Galaxy tool, the manufacturer wants to show what its Galaxy Z Fold 5 looks like… without its Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Try Galaxy: test the Samsung experience from an iPhone
As Samsung indicates on the dedicated site, Try Galaxy is “a simulation of Samsung’s One UI 5.1 interface on the Galaxy S23 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4.In reality, it is not a real application, but a website: indeed, we open Try Galaxy from Safari.
The latest app update allows One UI 5.1.1 to be tested, but not only on a smartphone “classic“. Widgets, apps, etc. several functions of the Samsung overlay can be tested. In a press release, the latter explains that it is possible to explore the functionalities of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. The opportunity also to demonstrate Quick Share, the Samsung equivalent of AirDrop. Last novelty: the possibility of discovering some health features of the Galaxy Watch, which are not necessarily found on the Apple Watch.
Two iPhones = one Galaxy Z Fold 5
Among the novelties offered, Try Galaxy allows the use of two iPhones connected to each other to simulate the experience of the large screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, as well as the folding experience. In fact, each will simulate part of the folding phone screen.
Among the features that can be tested, there is the FlexCam mode. It allows you to take photos by changing the interface of the camera application, by displaying more settings for example, or a photo gallery simultaneously. The most interesting use is undoubtedly multitasking, which we can also try.
