Rebel Ridge is a new Netflix release that has been unexpectedly hailed as the best action movie of 2024. After its premiere weekend the film became an instant No. 1 hit on the platform. The most interesting thing is that we are talking about a production that no one had predicted for this title and there were no excessive expectations towards it. It turns out, however, that critics and viewers agree – this action film, actually, a thriller, is really good.

Stephen King, who has a habit of recommending films on his X profile that he recently watched and was impressed, also expressed his opinion. He decided to comment on Rebel Ridge.

If it’s a Netflix original, it’s one of the best. RAMBO for the thinking man, no offense to David Morrell.
