We have no good news for those waiting for the fourth installment of the STALKER series. Studio GSC Game World is postponing the release date again.

The new release date of the game is November 20, 2024.
The Ukrainians are continuing the series’ tradition of delaying the premiere. STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl It was supposed to debut in April 2022, then in December 2023, then the date was moved to the first quarter of 2024, and even later to September 5, 2024. Unfortunately, the premiere has been postponed again..
In the latest press release we can read that GSC Game World needs two more months. Thus new release date is November 20, 2024. The creators are aware that players may be disappointed. However, they promise that this time will be used for necessary corrections and final polishing.
We know you might be tired of waiting, and we really appreciate your patience. These two extra months will give us a chance to fix more “unexpected anomalies” (or simply “bugs”). We are always grateful for your continued support and understanding – it means everything to us. We are just as eager as you are to finally release the game and experience it for yourself.
