SkyShowtime. Here is the repertoire for April
SkyShowtime reveals its cards, so we already know what series and films we can expect on the platform in April. Everyone will find something for himself.
In April, SkyShowtime will feature even more stories with an all-star cast! The website will debut series adaptations of global bestsellers – A Gentleman in Moscow with Ewan McGregor, as well as Apples Never Fall with Annette Bening and Sam Neill, and Alison Brie and Jake Lacy. The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery will also premiere on the website.
Boat Story
Season: 1

When two poor strangers, Janet (Daisy Haggard – Back to Life, Breeders) and Samuel (Paterson Joseph – Vigil, Noughts & Crosses), accidentally find a lot of cocaine on a ruined boat, they both can’t believe their luck. They decide to sell the goods and share the profits, but they are quickly followed by the police, masked killers and an elegant gangster known as “Tailor” (Tcheky Karyo – Baptiste, The Missing).

Star Trek: Discovery

In the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery, Captain Burnham and the crew of the USS Discovery discover the secret that will begin their next spectacular journey across the galaxy. This time they will be looking for an ancient power whose existence has been hidden for centuries. In this quest, however, they have dangerous, hostile rivals who desperately want the same power and are ready to do anything to obtain it.
Season 5 will be available to watch exclusively on SkyShowtime from April 5. New episodes of the series will be available on the website every week. Seasons 1 – 3 will be available on SkyShowtime from March 8, and season 4 from March 22.
A Gentleman in Moscow

In the series A Gentleman in Moscow, Ewan McGregor (Star Wars series, Halston, Trainspotting) plays Count Alexander Rostov, who after the Bolshevik Revolution discovers that due to his class background and past, he finds himself on the wrong side of history. The Soviet court spares his life, but sends him to a tiny room in the attic of the elegant Metropol hotel. If the count gets out of there, he will face execution. Behind the walls of the hotel, turbulent years and decades of Russian history pass by. In his prison, Rostov cannot observe them, but a much more interesting world of spiritual discoveries opens before him. While building a new life in hotel seclusion, he learns the true value of friendship, family and love.
Episodes 1-3 will be available to watch on SkyShowtime from April 18, subsequent episodes will be added to the service every week.
Apples Never Fall

The script of the series was based on the New York Times bestseller published in Poland under the title “The Apple Does Not Fall Far Away” by Liane Moriarty. This is the story of the seemingly perfect Delaney family. Former coaches Stan (Sam Neill) and Joy (Annette Bening) have just sold their renowned tennis school and are ready to enter the golden autumn of their lives. They are looking forward to spending more time with their four adult children (Alison Brie, Jake Lacy, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Essie Randles). Everything changes when a young, injured woman knocks on the door and brings the adrenaline they have missed so much into their everyday lives. When Joy unexpectedly disappears one day, her children must look into the so-called their parents’ perfect marriage – this time as dark family secrets come to light.
The series will be available to watch only on SkyShowtime from April 23. New episodes will be added every week.
Mary&George

Mary & George is a series inspired by the unlikely but true story of Mary Villiers (Julianne Moore), who ensured that her handsome and charismatic son George (Nicholas Galitzine) seduced King James I and became his powerful lover. Thanks to their shocking intrigues, the Villiers from a poor background quickly became the richest, most successful and most influential figures in the history of the English court. The kingdom was then threatened by a Spanish invasion and there was chaos in the streets, so the stakes were very high. Mary & George is a bold historical drama about a mother and son who daringly conspired, seduced and killed their way into the bed of King James I to conquer the English court.
New episodes are added weekly, and the final episode will be available on SkyShowtime from April 5.
Sexy Beast

James McArdle (Easttown Mare, Angels in America) plays Gal Dove, and Emun Elliott (The Platform, The Gold) plays Don Logan. They play two petty thieves who are friends and enjoy life in East London in the 1990s. Sarah Greene (Dead Sisters, Normal People) plays Deedee Harrison, an electrifying adult film star who tries to take control of her own destiny. For now, however, she’s getting into trouble over her affair with Gal Dove. Stephen Moyer (Flashpoint, True Blood) plays Teddy Bass – a treacherous gangster climbing the ranks of the criminal career who lures Gal and Don into his criminal network. Tamsin Greig (Episodes, Friday Dinners) plays Don’s pathologically controlling and fearsome older sister, Cecilia.
Episodes 1-4 are now available to watch on SkyShowtime. Episodes 5-8 will be available on April 25.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3
The previous two installments of My Big Fat Greek Wedding were huge financial successes, and now the film franchise is back with a third wedding that promises to be even more lavish than the last. Familiar characters will appear on screen, played by Nia Vardalos, John Corbett, Elena Kampouris, Andrea Martin and Lainie Kazan.
