Silence as expected, i.e. a graphics card without fans
Palit is one of the first manufacturers to prepare an original model of a new and cheap NVIDIA graphics card. We are talking about the passively cooled KalmX.
NVIDIA quietly added a new graphics card to its offer. We are talking about the cheaper model of the previous generation, i.e GeForce RTX 3050 6GB. We get a weaker core and less VRAM, but the result is lower power consumption, lower temperatures and a more affordable price.
Palit GeForce RTX 3050 KalmX was valued at approximately PLN 905
System NVIDIA GA107, compared to the original GA106, offers 2048 instead of 2560 streaming processors. This is complemented by 6 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 96-bit data bus and TDP 70 W.
One of the first partners of the Greens to show their own model is Palit. The Taiwanese have prepared a completely passively cooled model GeForce RTX 3050 KalmX. It is equipped with a large radiator, and the whole thing has dimensions 166 x 137 x 38 millimetersso it will fit in small housings.
The graphics card does not have factory OC and works with a reference clock speed of up to 1470 MHz. However, it has its strengths – no need for additional power supply. The set of video connections is quite standard and offers one HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a and DVI Dual link.
Palit GeForce RTX 3050 KalmX has already appeared in German stores at a price of EUR 209, i.e. approximately PLN 905. This is a lot, considering that the older and more efficient GeForce RTX 3050 8 GB is available in Poland for around PLN 990-1,050. Well, it won’t be passively cooled like KalmX.
