SEGA sells Amplitude Studios. These are the creators of Humankind
The Japanese are finishing cleaning up in Europe. A studio from Paris specializing in strategies went under the hammer and is now returning to its original owners.

In the latest financial report for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, SEGA announced the sale of the French studio Amplitude Studiosknown from games such as Endless Space, Endless Legend, Dungeon of the Endless, Endless Space 2, Humankind and the latest title Endless Dungeon.
SEGA reported a loss of 5.9 billion yen
The company said it was ending it wave of restructuring SEGA’s operations in Europe, which started in September 2023. It also included previous sales Relic Entertainment and employee layoffs. However, the Japanese have no intention of withdrawing from our part of the world.
SEGA’s future in Europe rests on two studies: Sports Interactive and Creative Assembly. The first of them recently announced a delay Football Manager 2025 – the game is now scheduled to launch in March instead of November, which will allow the developers to fine-tune its quality. The changes include, among others: switching to the engine Unity.
Creative Assembly can sleep soundly. The studio recorded an increase in sales Total War: Warhammer IIImainly due to the addition Throne and Decayand interest in the title Total War: Pharaoh.
