Scythe Mugen returns. Even cooler and even quieter
It’s time for the revival of a Japanese legend. Scythe showed the 6th generation of Mugen series CPU cooling systems. It has to be solid, efficient and quiet.
Scythe is a Japanese manufacturer of computer equipment present on the market since 2002. The Japanese specialize in CPU coolers and fans, which they are known for very good quality of workmanship, high efficiency and exemplary work culture. And all this at affordable prices.
The new Mugen fits both AMD and Intel processors
In Poland, years ago, one of the most popular cooler models was the series Mugen, which could handle even the hottest CPUs. It so happens that Scythe has released a new, 6th generation.
Scythe Mugen 6 is a processor cooler with dimensions of 154 x 132 x 106 millimeters and a weight of 1013 grams. We are dealing here with six 6 mm heat pipes and one 120 mm fan Scythe Wonder Tornardowhich offers up to 2000 RPM at volume up to 26.9 dB(A).
Scythe Mugen 6 Dual Fan Black it is, as the name suggests, a black version with two fans, which increases the dimensions and weight – 154 x 132 x 132 millimeters and 1197 grams. The design of the radiator itself, the number of heat pipes and the efficiency of the fans remain unchanged.
The described cooling was designed for newer and older processors using sockets such as Intel LGA 1700, 115x, 1200, 2011(-3) or 2066 and AMD AM5 and AM4.
The coolers are already on sale in Japan and will soon debut in Europe. Suggested prices are ¥5,980 and ¥6,980, equivalent approximately PLN 165 and PLN 189 (+VAT).
