Sapphire has new hardware. This time it's a motherboard for AMD
AMD's leading partner decided to release a cheaper motherboard. Sapphire offers a new platform in the mITX format.
Sapphire is a Hong Kong company founded in 2001. She is mainly known as one of the best partners AMDwhich offers very successful proprietary Radeon models. However, their offer also includes other products, although they rarely appear outside Asia.
Sapphire B650 Nitro+ was valued at approximately PLN 945
It so happens that the motherboard debuted in China Sapphire B650 Nitro+. This is a proposal in the format Mini ITXwhich is equipped with a socket AMD AM5. It was designed with current processors in mind AMD Ryzen 7000 and the upcoming series Ryzen 9000.
There are two memory banks on the 8-layer laminate DDR5 RAM clocked at up to 6000 MHz and a reinforced PCI Express 4.0 x16 connector. In the case of data storage, there are four SATA III ports and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4. To offer a lower price, the manufacturer decided to use an older interface.
The I/O panel hosts one HDMI and DisplayPort, two USB 2.0, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C, RJ-45 and three audio ports. We also get Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 wireless connectivity here.
Sapphire B650 Nitro+ is now available for sale in China for PLN 1,689 renminbi, so approximately PLN 945. It is currently unknown whether the motherboard will be officially sold in Europe.
