Samsung will please Poles. There hasn’t been such a slim, medium-sized guy for a long time
The Galaxy A5x series has been one of Samsung’s sales hits for years, generating multi-million volumes around the world for the Korean giant. Everything indicates that we will soon see the latest representative of the popular series – Galaxy A57.
Samsung returns to its roots, the A Series once again tempts with its premium slimness
The latest reports come from the Chinese certification database TENAA, which is usually one of the most reliable sources before the official debut of the device. The biggest surprise in the design of the new smartphone is its thickness. According to leaks, the Galaxy A57 will measure only 6.9 mm, which is a reference to the growing trend for flat smartphones. The A57 also weighs less – 182 g. For comparison, its predecessor was 7.4 mm thick and weighed 198 g, so the manufacturer managed to lose some weight in the new model. It’s almost a return to the roots from 2014, when the first representative of the Alpha series was 6.7 mm thick.
In the Galaxy A57, Samsung also continues its design solution known as Key Island, i.e. a characteristic convexity on the frame in place of the volume and power buttons, which debuted in previous generations. The camera island itself will change slightly, although the general arrangement of lenses remains the same.
The technical specification has not been a secret for some time now. The front of the device will be filled with a flat AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.5 inches and Full HD resolution (2304 x 1080). The heart of the smartphone is to be the new Samsung chip – Exynos 1680 (clocked up to 2.9 GHz). Users will be able to choose from variants with 8 GB or even 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal memory is provided for data. This configuration should ensure smooth operation in everyday applications and power reserves for several years.
The photography section will not bring a revolution. The main module is a 50 Mpix matrix, it will be assisted by a 12 Mpix ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5 Mpix sensor for macro photos. On the front there is a 12 Mpix unit for selfies.
Interestingly, despite reducing the thickness of the casing, the manufacturer managed to fit a cell with a capacity of 4905 mAh (probably described in marketing as 5000 mAh), which can be charged with a power of 45 W. The official premiere of the Galaxy A57, as well as the cheaper A37 model, is expected in the coming weeks.
