Revolut with a new service. Let’s be honest, for Poles it’s a game changer
Everything indicates that BLIK will be available in the Revoluta application sooner than we know it. Work on this service has gained momentum. Some customers are already using it.
At the beginning of September we wrote about that BLIK is to join forces with Revolut. As part of the cooperation, probably before the end of this year, Revolut customers were to be able to pay using 6-digit codes. This is a huge strength, and for the Polish Payment Standard it is a chance for rapid international expansion.
Before we knew it, BLIK had already appeared in the Revoluta application. True it is still in the early testing phase and few people use it, the so-called family & friends tests. As noticed by cashless.pl, and the main screen of the application Revolut has a button with a BLIK icon. It enables payments in online stores, as well as using a generated code at stationary points. Payments without a code have not yet been noticed.
The fact that a select few are taking advantage of this option is good news – it means that work on the feature has just gained momentum.
We can confirm that the first beta tests of the new feature among our customer group are underway. Their goal is to collect opinions from customers, remove possible errors, and improve the performance of the service. If all goes well, we hope to launch the new feature in Revolut later this year
– Revolut itself confirms the pace of work.
It is therefore worth updating the application and looking for the BLIK icon on the screen.
