Record broken. There has never been such a fast processor

Chinese influencer Ordinary Uncle Tony broke the world record in the Cinebench R23 benchmark using an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor.

Ordinary Uncle Tony from China showed off his Cinebench R23 world record at an event called China Joy. He managed to get the highest score ever for a 16-core processor using the latest AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, so we can expect the best results are yet to come.

Cinebench R23 World Record

The previous record was 50,843 points and was achieved on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor. However, this is already the past, because the new, highest result was improved by about 10 percent and currently stands at 55,327 points.

This good result was achieved by overclocking the processor to 6.5 GHz. It wasn’t without cooling using liquid nitrogen. Despite this, the meter showed a temperature of 165 degrees Celsius, but what wouldn’t you do to break records. The Ryzen 9 9950X has clocks set at 4.7 GHz base and 5.7 GHz in Boost.

We are still ahead of the official launch of AMD Ryzen 9000 processors, so we can expect the record to be broken again in the coming months.
