Qualcomm presents new systems. They will improve the sound quality
Qualcomm presented new S5 Gen 3 and S3 Gen 3 systems. These are new audio platforms responsible for comprehensive sound processing.
Business Qualcomm presented two completely new systems that will soon be available in the devices we use. However, this is not about new smartphone processors, but Qualcomm S5 Gen 3 and S3 Gen 3, i.e. the next generation of integrated sound processing platforms.
The new Qualcomm chips are intended for a broadly understood category of gaming equipment, including: headphones and wireless speakers. They are responsible for comprehensive sound processing, combining, among others: DAC, DSP and Bluetooth module functionality.
Qualcomm S5 Gen 3 and S3 Gen 3 – new audio platforms
As for the two new models, they bring some interesting improvements over their predecessors. The S5 Gen 3 model seems particularly interesting, as it will focus on delivering to users functionality based on artificial intelligence, among others for active noise cancellation (ANC). In this type of operations, the new processor is to be up to 50 times more efficient than its predecessor.
Qualcomm S3 Gen 3 is a solution intended for mid-range and budget products. The new system is to offer rich functionality associated with the premium segment at a much more affordable price. Users can expect, among others: service Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio and the possibility of lossless sound transmission in quality up to 24-bit/48 kHz using a codec aptX Lossless.
