Press these keys in Word. You'll definitely find it useful
Microsoft has changed one setting in Word that should make life a lot easier for many people.
Microsoft Word is still probably the most popular word processor in the world. It is used by millions of users and each of them probably knows how irritating this application can be sometimes. Just changing one setting was enough to avoid some of these frustrations.
A small but important change in Word
The idea is to paste copied text into Word. By default, in addition to the content itself, all formatting, i.e. font, size and color, is also transferred to the document. Of course, this can be bypassed by using the “keep text only” function, but it wasn't particularly convenient. Now Microsoft has decided to make it much easier.
In a recent update, Word has been enriched with a new keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+V or Cmd+Shift+V, which is used to paste text without formatting. This basically solves the problem. However, the company from Redmond decided to go one step further and changed one setting in Word that will make pasting text even easier.

By default, Microsoft has changed the option whereby content pasted from other programs will be copied to match the formatting of a given document. The change appeared in Word version 2405 (Build 17624.20000). Of course, anyone who wants to keep the previous settings with copying all formatting can change this. However, by default this option is now set differently.
