What data fell into the hands of cybercriminals? Among others: name, surname, shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number, IP address, and list of purchased items. The pharmacy assures that the list does not include sensitive data, such as a PESEL number or medical data, because they do not store them.
This does not change the fact that the telephone number, home address or e-mail address may be used by fraudsters for further fraud attempts, e.g. by means of fake SMS messages.. Therefore, customers should be on their guard. Nowa Farmacja has sent relevant information to all those affected by the problem.
There is a risk that this also applies to your data. In addition, the Store immediately conducted an incident risk analysis in accordance with the recommendations of ENISA (European Union Agency for Network and Information Security).
