The popular Polish city has found itself in the spotlight of a global audience thanks to the latest season of the hit Netflix series, all thanks to episode 9 of the fourth season, which premiered yesterday.

Everything indicates that Krakow is experiencing its “5 minutes of fame” recently. was indicated by experts as the most developing city in Poland. And now some news for lovers of good cinema and… food. What is it about Krakow? We’ll explain.

Kraków, or more precisely – one of its restaurants, has become the center of attention of Netflix’s global audience. It’s all thanks to the popular series Emily in Paris. In episode 9 of the series, which premiered on the platform yesterday.

Season four takes the titular character on a romantic weekend in Rome. However, she doesn’t want to reveal this information to her colleagues and instead tells them that she’s going to… Krakow. And so it begins. It turns out that Emily’s friends really want to help her and they recommend places worth visiting in Krakow. They recommend a trip to Wieliczka and trying the incredibly tasty cabbage rolls at the Trzy Rybki restaurant.

The Netflix Effect is already known, is that thanks to its global reach it is able to change the trend in tourism. Places that are present in the series usually record an increase in interest from tourists, especially those from America. This time, thanks to its presence in the popular series, the capital of Małopolska also has a chance to benefit.
