Poles have lost their minds for this series. It’s been in Netflix’s top 10 for a month now

The miniseries “Lethal Friendship” appeared on the platform on January 8, 2026, and since its debut to this day, it has enjoyed great acclaim on Netflix. Poles apparently can’t tear themselves away from this title, but that’s what happens with stories with murder in the background. It seems that “A Lethal Friendship” has all the elements that attract every fan of crime stories – there is a mystery to solve, elements of a British thriller and drama. It is a loose adaptation of Alice Feeney’s novel of the same title, and at the same time an absorbing film with numerous plot twists and a masterful plot that keeps you in suspense until the last moment. At first glance, the series is nothing special. It tells the story of two people who were once close to each other: journalist Anna and detective Jack Harper. When Anna learns about a murder in the small town where she grew up, she becomes involved in the case. The detective notices her enthusiasm, but he doesn’t really like it. The two characters have a specific, although distrustful relationship. But thanks to this, viewers receive two different perspectives on the investigation of one crime.
