Play: Eurosport’s special channels for the Paris Olympics are launching
Play has joined the group of operators whose TV services offer access to broadcasts of the Olympic Games that are just starting in Paris.
Play will provide Olympic coverage from two main Eurosport channels and eight additional channels launched for the Paris Games. The operator announced this in April when it signed cooperation agreement with Warner Bros..
Broadcasts from the Olympic Games in Paris are available on Play for customers who they decided on optical fiber speeds of 300 Mbps, 600 Mbps, 1 Gbps or 5 Gbps with MAX TV.
The athletes’ competition will be broadcast on TV Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2. Additionally, Eurosport launches eight special channelswhere you can follow all the Olympic disciplines from javelin throwing, kayaking to skateboarding. In total, Eurosport channels will provide the opportunity to follow more than 830 hours of events sports from Paris, in the highest image and sound quality. Over 200 hours of coverage will be available in 4K quality.
All channels are offered on Play MAX for the duration of the Olympic Games. Special Eurosport channels will be available from July 26 to August 11 on PLAY decoders.
Similar offers have also been introduced by other Internet and TV service providers – Netia, Polsat Box or VectraWhereas in Orange Television Eurosport 1 and 2, four special channels and TVP broadcasts (TVP1, TVP2, TVP Sport) are available.
