PKO BP provided an important date. Customers should remember it
PKO Bank Polski introduces interruptions in the operation of some of its services at regular intervals. This coming weekend this will apply to the IKO application.
Technical breaks in banks are a normal procedure that allows you to introduce system updates or implement new solutions. Banks usually choose weekend as the best time for this type of work and it makes sense because the number of transactions on Saturday and Sunday is lower than during the week. This does not mean, however, that no one uses the account, cards and banking application.
IKO will not work on Sunday
PKO Bank Polski warns that on Sunday, April 28, 2024 in hours 00:00 – 07:00 it will not work IKO applicationincluding contactless payments by phone and BLIK code. This technical break may therefore affect late-night partygoers who want to return home after Saturday's party, or, for example, drivers who will go on a trip on Sunday morning and want to refuel.
However, the bank reassures that card payments in ATMs and stores landlines will continue to operate unchanged. Additionally, it is worth knowing that 3D-Secure 2 will be available as part of the protection of online card payments only authorization by SMS code and PIN to the card.
