PKO Bank Polski has issued another important warning that every bank customer should read. Your money is at stake.

PKO BP warns customers

This time, PKO BP warns against fake e-mails that reach the bank’s clients’ inboxes. At first glance, they may look like real correspondence, but in fact it is a scam intended to deprive us of money.

PKO BP draws attention to several aspects of the news. First of all, their addressee is service@ipko(kropka).plwhich may be misleading for many people because it suggests that it was actually the bank that sent us such a message. In addition, cybercriminals try to convince potential victims that they need to activate mobile confirmation to continue using PKO BP services. The email contains a link that leads to the website hxxps://login-advance(KROPKA)net/IPKO, impersonating the real bank website.

Do not open attachments or click on links in these types of emails. If you click on the link, you may lose your money and control of your account.

– warns PKO BP.

PKO BP fake e-mail

PKO Bank Polski also reminds that the e-mails and text messages they send never contain links. The bank also recommends checking the URL carefully before logging in to online banking.
