PKO BP is preparing a change. You will see it in every department and document
Every change introduced by PKO BP causes quite a stir. After all, it is the largest bank in Poland both in terms of capital and number of customers. Soon something will change that each of us will literally see. In fact, some observant people may have already noticed it.
Change in PKO BP
It’s about the bank’s logo. PKO BP is preparing to refresh its visual identification. The change won’t be big, but those who are more observant will definitely notice it right away. The characteristic blue color will be replaced with black. The spaces between the letters PKO, which formed the shape of a piggy bank, will also increase.
The initial plans were more ambitious. There was even thought of changing the name and leaving only the Bank Polski element. This would solve the problem of confusing PKO and Pekao. The logo was also supposed to be completely new. Ultimately, a gentle refresh was chosen.
The current identification was created several years ago, taking into account traditional communication media. Over the years, the way of presenting content has changed – the bank, adapting to these trends, refreshed its identification, including the sign and font. In their new version, they provide a better visual effect and readability, especially in digital environments.
The changes will be introduced gradually to reduce the associated costs. The new logo has been used for several months, among others, in television advertisements. Now it will also start appearing in bank branches.
