PKO BP has an important announcement. June 16 and 18 may surprise you unpleasantly

Due to planned technical works, there may be temporary difficulties in using the websites and services of PKO Bank Polski

– the bank said in a statement.

Technical work in banks is usually carried out on weekends and at night, when the number of financial operations is lowest. It's similar this time, although there will be a break much longer than usual. It will start on Sunday, June 16 2024 at 00:00 i will last until 12:00.

During this time, you will not be able to use the iPKO website, iPKO biznes, open banking functions and payments in online stores using the “Pay with iPKO” service.

The bank assures us that it will be possible during the break withdraw money from ATMs and pay in stationary and online stores only using BLIK and the IKO application. All cards will work in ATMs and stationary stores. As part of the protection of online payments with a 3D-Secure 2 card, only authorization via SMS code and card PIN will be available.

But that's not the end. PKO Bank also announced technical break in the middle of the week, which happens very rarely. Fortunately, this time the break will be much shorter. On Tuesday, June 18 2024 in hours 01:30 – 04:40 you will not be able to:

• perform card and BLIK transactions in ATMs and cash deposit machines of PKO Bank Polski
• assign a PIN and activate cards in the IKO application and iPKO website
• verify your PIN for 3D Secure transactions

PKO Bank warns that difficulties may also occur while:

• card payments in stationary and online stores,
• card withdrawals from ATMs of other banks,
• connecting cards to Apple Pay, Google Pay, Garmin Pay, SwatchPAY!, Xiaomi Pay and making payments with them.

During the night hours it exists little chancethat PKO customers will storm the bank's services, but if someone was planning to do so, they should plan their expenses in advance.
