Pepco withdraws the product from its offer. Is dangerous
PEPCO was forced to recall one of its children’s toys. The item turned out to be dangerous and could have caused burns.
PEPCO is a store known for its wide range of products. We can find almost everything on the shelves, including: toys for children. Unfortunately, the chain hasn’t had the best of times lately, as foam puzzles for children were withdrawn from sale on February 13. Now another one has been removed from the offer, potentially dangerous toy.
PEPCO withdraws a dangerous toy
PEPCO issued an official announcement in which it informs that the currently available toy called “Remote-controlled tumbling bee” with the code PLU 596565 is withdrawn from sale “for the safety of customers”. The device allegedly did not meet the company’s standards.
The toy had heat up to a dangerous temperature, which could cause burns upon contact with skin. The store chain appeals to customers who have purchased the toy not to use it under any circumstances. The company has committed to refund for the purchased item. If you don’t have a receipt anymore, you don’t have anything to worry about anyway. PEPCO will pay the full purchase amount even without proof of purchase. The return can be made at any PEPCO store in Poland.
