Orlen Paczka z przesyłkami GLS

Orlen stops parcel communism. It will share its hiding places with others

In Orlen Paczka machines, it will be possible to collect parcels delivered by other courier companies. Orlen Paczka already has its first partner.

Orlen Paczka will make its network of parcel machines available to General Logistics Systems Poland, i.e. GLS.

Less parcel lockups, more cooperation

It can be said that the goal of the cooperation between the Orlen Paczka and GLS networks is to slow down the parcel locker. Parcel machines have taken over our housing estates, but they are not always used well. By joining forces, the two logistics companies they can better utilize the existing Orlen Paczka machines, instead of adding new devices next to the existing ones. We can also conclude from this that Orlen Paczka… machines still have a lot of free hiding places.

The urban space should benefit from this, unless competitors set up shop in the few available meters. Nevertheless, customers will have access to the already known lockers and to the offers of new courier companies. Of course, if it turns out that there is a lack of lockers in a given area, the courier companies will certainly remedy this.

Orlen boasted that thanks to this, it will “launch the largest shared network of parcel machines in Europe”. The company also announced that it currently has 6,000 machines from which we can send and receive parcels. It is worth recalling that Orlen Paczka is also a partner of Allegro Delivery.
