Oppo’s next foldable is already being talked about

A few months ago, the Find N2 Flip was released in our regions. Unfortunately, it seems that Oppo is leaving France, just like OnePlus. It’s a shame, because the sequel was expected from the brand. Some information about the Oppo Find N3 Flip is leaking and suggests a good competitor to the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Last February, the Oppo Find N2 Flip arrived with us: a very good foldable smartphone and above all an interesting alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip. But while the latter has released its Galaxy Z Flip 5, Oppo is making waves with what would be its next foldable smartphone, the Find N3 Flip. Its large-format equivalent, the Oppo Find N3, also revealed itself in a first leak.

A design with an external screen that would not move

This is a leak revealed by Yogesh Brar on the site pricebaba, in an article since deleted, but whose backup can be found on the Wayback Machine. We learn that the device was recently spotted on the Chinese 3C certification site. On the design side, we even have a first glimpse. What we realize is that it would not change a lot. First of all, we would still have the vertical external screen, which made the Find N2 Flip original compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

It is the photo block that would change, to return to an older formula. All the photo sensors would be gathered in a circle, and would be made in collaboration with Hasselblad, Oppo’s long-time photo partner. The flash would be relegated a little lower. That would make it look somewhat like the Oppo Reno 10 Pro launched a while back in China alongside the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro+.

The technical characteristics expected on the Oppo Find N2 Flip

According to pricebaba Still, the Find N3 Flip is reportedly arriving in late August in China for a global launch next month. However, it could be that the smartphone does not come out with us. At the end of July, the exclusive distributor of Oppo in France confirmed its cessation of activity. Nothing says that the brand will redistribute smartphones to us.

Anyway, this foldable smartphone would have a 6.8-inch Amoled LTPO internal screen as well as a 3-inch external screen. This model would be sold under Android 13 with the ColorOS 14 interface. On the photo component, we would find a main sensor of 50 Mpx with OIS, an ultra-wide-angle of 8 Mpx as well as a telephoto lens of 32 Mpx. The selfie sensor meanwhile would be 32 Mpx. Finally, we have a figure on the charging power: it would be 67 W, against 44 on the Find N2 Flip.
