The heart of the device will be the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro system. The manufacturer plans to use RAM in the modern LPDDR6 standard.

User files will be allocated fast UFS 4.1 mass storage. The source notes that the design does not provide for a memory card slot, which has long been the norm in this class of equipment. Therefore, it will not be possible to expand the data space in this way.

The biggest surprise in the released specification is the power supply section. OnePlus 16 is expected to have a 9,000 mAh battery. Such a cell should provide great operating time on a single charge.

Energy will be topped up wired with a power of 120 W. Wireless charging with a power of 50 W will also be available. There will be stereo speakers and an improved O916T vibration engine on board. The ultrasonic fingerprint reader will go under the screen surface.

The photography section promises to be equally interesting. The main camera will use the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor with a resolution of 200 Mpix.
