NVIDIA is the undisputed leader both in the consumer graphics card market and in the segment of professional systems, e.g. for AI. However, the Greens do not intend to stop there. Already next year, the company intends to present its first processors, which are to be used in regular Kowalski computers.
NVIDIA is preparing processors
Next year, NVIDIA intends to introduce its own platform to the market, consisting of both an ARM processor and a graphics system. This one is intended to be addressed to ordinary consumers. The first units are expected to appear around September with wider availability in March 2026.
NVIDIA already has some experience in this field, after all, the company produces key components, among others, for the Nintendo Switch console. Its portfolio also includes Tegra devices. The date is not accidental either, because this is when Qualcomm’s exclusive contract for ARM systems for Windows computers ends. This will open the door to new players, and NVIDIA wants to be one of them.
The Greens, according to rumors, are immediately aiming for higher-end dealsthus challenging Intel and AMD, but also the previously mentioned Qualcomm. It cannot be ruled out that the new NVIDIA processors will be aimed at gamers. Combining them with GeForce graphics could give Jensen Huang’s company completely new possibilities. We should hear more about this in the coming months.
