Noctua has new cooling. It is small, quiet and efficient
Good news for fans of Noctua and Small Form Factor computers. An even more efficient, horizontal CPU cooler is now available on the market.
Nowadays, assembling a small but efficient computer set is much easier than before. Of course, it's still more expensive than a “classic-sized” PC, and you also have to pay close attention to the dimensions of the components. Noctua decided to make the task easier by releasing a new CPU cooler.
The new cooling was valued at approximately PLN 369
Noctua NH-L12Sx77 is an improved version of the well-known and popular NH-L12S model. The cooling described is slightly higher than the original and are equipped with six rather than four heat pipes. It ensures this greater compatibility with RAM modules and VRM heatsinks and increases efficiency.
Noctua NH-L12Sx77 has dimensions 77 x 128 x 131 millimeters and mass 520 grams, counting with the fan. The copper heat pipes and the base are nickel-plated, so they are not afraid of contact with liquid metal. The cooler itself was designed with sockets in mind Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 115x and AMD AM5 and AM4.
The fan used is a 120 mm unit Noctua NF-A12x15, equipped with SSO2 bearing. It works at speed up to 1850 RPMat efficiency up to 55.4 CFM and declared work culture up to 23.9 dB(A). By default, it is mounted under the radiator, but the user can change the position to the top.
Noctua NH-L12Sx77 has already gone on sale with a suggested price of EUR 85, i.e. approximately PLN 369. So it's definitely not cheap. The set includes Noctuaa NT-H2 thermal paste and an LNA adapter that lowers RPM but improves work smoothness. The manufacturer provides a 6-year warranty.
