No more waiting for plastic. The new function in mObywatel is a hit

mObywatel Junior is an application that was made available in September 2025. It can be used by children and teenagers. So far, they could only store a digital version of their school ID, but the new version adds two more documents.

From now on, users of the mObywatel Junior application can activate two more documents in it. The first is the large family card, which entitles you to many discounts and allowances.

The second document is a provisional driving license. This will appear in the application after passing the exam, but before the physical, plastic version of the documents is issued. Thanks to this, the teenager will be able to get behind the wheel earlier.

This is important because from March 2026, people aged 17 will be able to take the driving test. They will be subject to additional rules, such as the need to obtain the consent of parents or guardians, the requirement to drive with an experienced driver in the passenger seat (at least 25 years and 5 years of experience), as well as a 3-year trial period with a zero alcohol limit.
