Disney has just announced a whole new burst of content (films and series) for the month of September, including season 2 of the Groot mini-series.

Summer is coming to an end and SVoD platforms are gradually unveiling their programs for the month of September. Today it’s Disney + plus that sticks to it and the least we can say is that it’s quite meager despite a few series and films that are worth a look.

As a reminder, it is possible to subscribe to Disney + alone (8.99 euros per month) or in the Canal + subscription.

My name is Groot (season 2)

The little tree returns for new adventures in the second season of My name is Groot. This time, Baby Groot explores the universe and beyond aboard Guardian spaceships, coming face to face with creatures and environments never before seen. Season 2 uses the same formula as the first, namely a few episodes in the form of short films. This season is directed and written by Kirsten Lepore and produced by Marvel Studios.

Black Girl (season 1)

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Zakiya Dalila Harris, the original series will be broadcast exclusively from September 13 on Disney+. It consists of 10 episodes and tells the story of Nella, an editorial assistant, who is tired of being the only black girl in her company. She will also discover that something sinister is going on there.

Movies Coming to Disney+ in September 2023

Stalked

Halfway between science fiction and thriller, Stalked is an amazing film in the landscape of Disney productions. It is based on an original scenario featuring a certain Kaitlyn Dever who will find herself stalked by an unknown canvasser, a bit like a The Thing or a Alien. In addition, we expect to see more than the simple visual below, especially since the official trailer is still not available. The feature film arrives on September 22.
