New in Bank Pocztowy: Recover your online banking password in 3 minutes

Bank Pocztowy has introduced a new solution that is intended to make life easier for customers using online banking. From December 2024, you can regain access to your account and set a new password online – without calling the hotline or visiting a branch. All you need is just a few minutes and a simple form.

No more waiting on the hotline

So far recovering the password for Bank Pocztowy online banking required contacting the hotline or visiting a branch. This generated long waiting times and additional formalities. The new solution is a direct response to the needs of customers who expressed their willingness to resolve this issue faster and more convenient.

How to recover your password online?

The password recovery process is simple and intuitive:

  • on the banking login page, under the window for entering data, there is a “Recover password” form,
  • after entering the NIK number, the system verifies the data and asks for the e-mail address and mobile phone number,
  • a verification code is sent to the provided e-mail address,
  • then you must answer 5 questions about your banking products and confirm your data with an SMS code,
  • at the end, the customer receives an SMS with a one-time password enabling logging in to online banking.

The entire process should take no more than 3 minutesallowing you to save time and avoid unnecessary formalities. The new solution is part of the digitalization strategy of Bank Pocztowy, which assumes: streamlining processes and adapting them to modern standards.

The introduction of the function of self-recovering access to online banking and changing the password is a direct response to signals from our customers. So far, the Bank’s hotline has received approximately 400 reports a day regarding this topic. Thanks to the new functionality, customers can save time by carrying out these activities themselves, without the need to visit a branch or wait for a connection with a consultant.
