New FiiO gadget from February in Poland. It’s an audiophile discman

FiiO DM15 R2R is a portable CD player that aspires to be an audiophile discman. The device had its Chinese premiere in December 2025 and has been available on AliExpress for some time, but now it is headed to Poland.

The heart of the DM15 R2R is the proprietary one FiiO digital-to-analog converter in R2R technology (Resistor-to-Resistor). This advanced architecture, based on precise resistor ladders provides natural, musical and analog sound that is appreciated by the most demanding audiophiles. According to the manufacturer, the fully balanced R2R transducer provides excellent resolution and dynamics, bringing out details from CDs that are often missing from standard Delta-Sigma transducers.

FiiO DM15 R2R is also distinguished by its high output power – it is equipped with a powerful headphone amplifier with a power of 1150 mW + 1150 mW (in balanced mode), which allows you to seamlessly drive a wide range of headphones, both portable and stationary.

The device can be used not only as a CD player, but also as a high-class one USB sound card (support up to 384kHz/32bit and DSD256) and also as Bluetooth 5.4 transmitter with support for aptX HD and aptX Adaptive codecs, enabling wireless transmission of high-resolution audio.

Thanks to the built-in lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh The player offers up to 7 hours of continuous playback. It can also be switched to desktop mode without using the battery.

The device is equipped with headphone outputs 3.5mm (single-ended) i 4.4mm (balanced), as well as a multi-function output 3-in-1 (Line Out/Coaxial/Optical), which allows for easy connection to your home Hi-Fi system.

The user has at his disposal 8 predefined sound settingswhich allow you to adjust the sound to the music genre or personal preferences.
