New Apple Pay function – money transfer as fast as BLIK
Apple Pay will receive a new function – Tap to Cash, i.e. quick payment from phone to Apple phone without providing any data. Hold your phone close, simple authorization and you're done. Devices running iOS 18 will receive the features.
Tap to Cash is a new feature of Apple Pay presented at WWDC 2024. Tap to Cash will allow make payment iPhone with the system iOS 18transferring money to another device with active Apple Pay – that's enough tap your phone and authorize the payment.
By confirming the payment in the selected method, the appropriate amount will be transferred from the payer's account and transferred to another account assigned to the Apple Pay service. The new feature works kind of like Air Drop, with the difference that it is used to transfer money. Transfer money using Tap to Cash is similar to the Polish BLIK – Apple's advantage is that you don't have to provide your phone number.
Additional updates to Apple Pay
