Netflix's new No. 1. The Scandinavian series is watched in one breath

It debuted on Thursday, and after just one day, it landed in the first place of the most watched Netflix series. “La Palma” keeps you glued to the screen for several hours.

“La Palma” – a Scandinavian series is currently number 1 in Poland on Netflix. Just a day after it debuted on the platform, it became a hit. Do we really like disaster movies that much? It is worth mentioning that the series is very timely, as its action takes place during the preparations for Christmas.

The series “La Palma” is a Norwegian production that draws us into a dramatic story about a seemingly happy family on a perfect vacation. Unfortunately, the paradise scenery of the Canary Islands quickly loses its idyllic features and from the very first frame you can feel the growing atmosphere of horror. The holiday idyll quickly gives way to tension and we all realize that a great and inevitable disaster is coming. The very first scene of the series will have the viewer on the edge of their seats.

What is the series “La Palma” about?

One could say that there is an upcoming tsunami. A Norwegian family arrives at a picturesque hotel in the Canary Islands just in time to spend Christmas. Unfortunately, their peaceful rest is quickly disturbed when a group of scientists discover that a tsunami is approaching the island. The heroes’ fight for survival will soon begin. And we know it. Personal conflicts and family disagreements intertwine with the power of nature.

The film will certainly appeal to fans of the Polish series “Wielka Woda”.

The series is available on Netflix from December 12.
