Series Supacell debuted on the platform on June 27 and has been one of the most watched productions on Netflix since then. It’s a typical superhero production, and yet we reach for it very willingly.
A story as old as the world
Here are five seemingly ordinary Londoners who make an incredible discovery – they have hidden superpowers and can help save the world from the wicked. It turns out that all the heroes have sickle cell anemia in their families. However, instead of getting sick, they gain superpowers and, what’s more, they find each other. Of course, we have everything you need to get into the plot: a love story, lots of chases and explosions. According to the latest viewership ranking, the 6-episode series clocked in at 33.5 million hours of viewing, generating 6.4 million views.
In Poland, at the time of writing this news, The series Supacell is the 1st most watched series on Netflix.
